How to VIsit MP Offices In Second Life

If you download the SecondLife Browser(free) and set up a basic account (free) you can teleport directly to Millenneium Projects Second Life Offices by clicking the following special SURL Teleport to MP-HQ Second Life, or Teleport to the new Nodes Office Center, or Teleport to the 15 Global Challenges Theater. A new window will open and will look like this:


Click the teleport button and the Second Life Browser will launch, if you are not already logged into Second Life, log in and you will be taken to the front door of our main facility in Second Life, or the new Nodes Office Center.

The key to moving around in Second Life are the Arrow keys; back, forward, left right. If you have a mouse scroll wheel you can zoom back and forth away from your avatar. For more information about Second Life see the rest of this page below, especially the "How to Use Second Life" video guide below. Then launch your Second Life Browser and explore the links in the TE.LEPORT.ME window each link there will open a teleport window that will teleport you in your Second Life Browser to that location.

The Cybernode of the Millennium Project has created a "beach head" for it's MPcollab in SecondLife. Being based in Hawaii it started out as an ocean front shanty next to a spectacular waterfall and the mandatory fire pit for late night musings. But when Jerry suggested a more corporate look might be more appropriate for his presentations I compromised and built a modern three story headquarters, but kept the ocean-front location, waterfall, and fire-pit. And for those with a keen sense of detail you will notice that my avatar still wears Maui beach sandals known in Hawaii as flip flops.
